Statement of Purpose
The church believes that each child is a child of God and should have every opportunity to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually to their fullest potential.
An after-school program is one way for the church to live out the message of God’s love expressed through Jesus Christ.
The church is called to ministry, caring for children, showing concern for families, and providing support and nurture for its own congregation and for the surrounding community.
Children and parents in the congregation and in the community need the support of this program.
What is Kids Corner?
Kids’ Corner is a Christian-based licensed after-school childcare program with trained staff for Kindergarten thru 10 years old. Kid’s Corner follows the USD 264 school calendar and operates from after school until 5:45 p.m. Starting in August 2025, we will be open year-round, except weekends and major holidays.
Cost: Non-refundable enrollment fee: $25.00 per year/ per family.
Fees: During the school year: Full-time enrollment is $10.00 each school-day. (Inservice days and school breaks are $25 per day.)
Part-time enrollment is $15.00 each school-day they attend. (Inservice days and school breaks are $30 per day.)
Summer Program is $150 a week for full-time care or $35 per day for part-time care.
Daily Activities Include:
- Supervised walk/transportation to the church
- Healthy snack
- Devotional
- Joys and concern sharing
- Recreation
- Homework time
- Craft projects
- Occasional field trips
