Statement of Purpose
The church believes that each child is a child of God and should have every opportunity to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually to their fullest potential.
A childcare program is one way for the church to live out the message of God’s love expressed through Jesus Christ.
The church is called to ministry, caring for children, showing concern for families, and providing support and nurture for its own congregation and for the surrounding community.
Children and parents in the congregation and in the community need the support of this program.
What is Good Shepherd Childcare?
Good Shepherd Childcare program is a Christian-based licensed with trained staff for 3-10 years old. Good Shepherd Childcare follows the USD 264 school calendar and operates from 7:15 a.m. until 5:45 p.m. We are open year-round, except weekends and major holidays.
Cost: Non-refundable Family enrollment fee: $25.00/year.
Fees: After-school Childcare: Full-time enrollment is $10.00/school-day. (Inservice days and school breaks are $25/day.)
After-school Childcare: Part-time enrollment is $45/week, for up to 3 school days. (Inservice days and school breaks are $35/day.)
Day Care: Full-time is $150/week, or Part-time is $35/day.
Daily Activities Include:
- Supervised walk/transportation to the church
- Healthy snack
- Devotional
- Joys and concern sharing
- Recreation
- Homework time
- Craft projects
- Occasional field trips
